Berwick Forge in Berwick St John near Shaftesbury, Dorset are both traditional Blacksmiths and contemporary Steel Fabricators ideally suited to all types of Metal Work for Home, Garden, Agriculture and more. From Design to Completion, from a Small Welding Job to a Large Building Project, Berwick Forge provides a top quality service by accomplished experienced craftsmen.
In 1965, Tony Sparkes moved to Berwick St. John to take over the Forge. The yard was often seen full of horses waiting to be shod or tools and equipment waiting to be repaired.
Today the Forge is home to Tony and Paul Sparkes and although horses are no longer in the yard, there is still plenty of activity happening inside.
With a wide range of knowledge and nearly 100 years of combined experience, the skills on offer at Berwick Forge range from traditional Blacksmithing right up to Stainless Steel/Aluminium Welding or even complex steel structures and general fabrication.
From Garden edging to Buildings, there's not much that cannot be made at Berwick Forge.
